Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Super Sounds Twitch extension and the supersounds.fyi website and dashboard (together, the "Service"). By activating or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1.What Super Sounds is

Super Sounds lets Twitch viewers use Bits to generate custom AI sound effects from a short text prompt, or to play ready-made sounds from a library, which then play on a participating streamer's stream through the streamer's broadcasting software. Streamers choose which features are available, how many Bits each one requires, and which sounds are enabled. Sounds are intended as lighthearted, temporary entertainment and clear on their own.

2.Relationship with Twitch

Super Sounds is a third-party extension built on the Twitch platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Twitch. Your use of Twitch, your Twitch account, and Bits is governed by Twitch's own Terms of Service and policies. Bits are a virtual item provided and managed by Twitch — all Bits balances, transactions, and any refunds are handled solely by Twitch under Twitch's terms. Super Sounds does not process payments and does not issue or control refunds.

3.Eligibility

You must meet Twitch's minimum age and eligibility requirements to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet those requirements and that your use complies with Twitch's terms and all applicable laws.

4.AI-generated sounds

Generated sounds are produced automatically by third-party AI from the text a viewer submits. Output varies and is not guaranteed to match a prompt exactly. Prompts are screened and adjusted to filter out prohibited content before a sound is generated, but no automated filter is perfect. Streamers control whether the generate feature is enabled on their channel and are responsible for the content they choose to make available to their audience.

5.Streamer responsibilities

  • You decide which features are enabled and what they require in Bits, and you can disable any feature, any sound, or the entire panel at any time.
  • Sounds play on your own stream through the browser source you add to your broadcasting software. You are responsible for running it in an environment where these sounds are appropriate for you and your audience.
  • You are responsible for keeping your content and channel compliant with Twitch's rules while using the Service.

6.Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to generate prohibited, harmful, or abusive content, or to disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, or gain unauthorized access to it, or to use it to harass, deceive, or violate the rights of others. We may suspend or remove access to the Service for conduct that violates these Terms or Twitch's policies.

7.Availability

The Service depends on Twitch, your internet connection, third-party generation services, and your browser source running in your broadcasting software. Sounds can only play while that source is connected. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it.

8.Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use the Service at your own risk.

9.Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Super Sounds and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Because Bits are managed entirely by Twitch, any dispute regarding Bits should be directed to Twitch.

10.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
